Submitted by Justin Poole on Thu, 2010-01-14 06:18
I am off to busso on the weekend, I have never fished there before, the only info or recomendation so far is a mile or two off yalingup beech is good for the swalow tails & nannygai.
Any other recomendations guys, please feel free to send the co ords to your secret spot, hahha! No but a general area to look would be a great start.
Just want to bottom bounce to catch us a feed,
and some crabbing with the dilly pots..
thanks
Justin

plenty of ground off the cape
depends were you launch from though.
watch the weather though as it can change very quickly.
start looking in the 25-30m depth on the north side of the cape. there is good ground out near the tip.
keep clear of wrights bank though as it will break with a small swell.
on the south side just move around in the 25-40plus depth and you will find good ground. between the tip and sugarloaf has good ground and can move further south if conditios allow.
otherwise try 4mile out from geo marina and just sound around looking for hard ground. burley and float unwighted mulies or drift.......
out from siesta has good ground on 4mile.
then its 6-8-12 mile generally that you will find the reefs.
