Waroona

Hi

i am thinking of heading down to Waroona next week. Have never been before and was won dering what i need to do to catch fish there?

I read for trout you can only use lures, does this applyy for the whole of Waroona dam or just fishing for trout?

Any info on fishing their is greatlyy appreciated.

Light gear that can flick lures/sp a way so probably braid. Hardbody bibbed lures, spinner lures and soft plastics.

Daily Trout bag limit 2 per angler with a southwest fishing licence, No bait, only artificial lures, 30cm minimum size. Redfin perch are a pest, and if caught should not be returned to water. Freshwater cobbler, not sure if you will get them in the dam, 40 oer licenced fisher per day. If fishing you can have a short handled (50cm) trout net.

Marroning, snare only, licence required, trophy water so minimum 90mm carapace and a daily possession limit of 5 per angler. Chook pellets.
