Fishing Almanac Accuracy

G'day everyone.
Another pesky question of mine.
Who here uses a Fishing Almanac? Do you find it accurate? I picked up Tim Smiths Almanac with bite times and tide times the other day. Some interesting stuff in there besides the times to fish etc with different species, size limits, knots and rigs etc.
Hoping it is accurate, as it will possibly help remove the less productive days on the water.
All useful input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Justo

Clearly more accurate than you posting it three times ... Only kidding.
Hopefully the ones that swear by it can comment.

Almanac results
My usual deckie and I fish by the Maori Almanac.
Every day is a good day to fish.
Except those days which we are drinking.
Then it is a drinking and fishing day.
Here is the link www.drinkandfishmoreoften.com.au
Hope this helps.
(and yes I've been drinking)

No so good
I've caught more on the 'average' days than the 'great' days in Perth. The 'bad' days are generally bad. That's my opinion. I think it's pretty random and rarely check it now. Dan

The way i put it
The way i put it to people that ask is , " I have always seen increased activity during the peak times in the book " As others have said not all the black"best" days shown have fired .
I do use it to plan trips, but these are usualy based around the new moon anyway. Try to fish 2 hours before and 2 hours after the peak times. (they usualy are just before and just after the full moon, or the new moon . And around high or low tides )
If the peak times combine with sunrise or sunset , on a change of tide, you have the makings of a good fishing sesh.
Hope this helps. PS: any time is a good time to fish rather than work , lol .
