This isn’t a vote . Should be third option ( no) My advise do not vote for what they put up ( means you agree to it ) letters /complaints yes . This isn’t a vote at all . Look I am not the smartest person in world . There is no 3rd option . There way or no way attitude sucks d..ks . It’s wrong . Up to individuals picking 1 off there options . Wouldn’t be good

I haven’t read them all tot
I could imagine rob saying same . If you vote you agree .pretty simple don’t vote . I am coming closer to end of chasing fish out in deeper water ( not yet). This is total crap for our kids and grandkids. Once in , it’s gone forever . There will be more dead fish than ever .( wasted fish floating or on bottom dead) while chasing king George .50 percent reduction they wanted . I call bull—it . That’s a heap more than 50% of years fishing . So massive reduction of fish brought home to table ( not including all year round dead ones) What next ? No fishing zone beyond 5 meter mark .anyone who hands in frames / record catches this is the outcome of all your hard work . Thinking your doing right thing bites you in ass . My rant over .

Thats not a bad way to provide direct feedback actually, but still need it direct to ministers and McGowan.
Some of us who put considerable time into this are feeling quite burnt, I know Brody is, he is quite passionate.
I think Recfishwest might be at a turning point, usually preferring to negotiate
We will see whether DPIRD and Punch/McGowan will hunker down or respond.
I believe it is most likely hunker down initially and see if the noise dies down.
McGowan hates to be unpopular, so this needs to reflect on him directly

Was talking to the misso as
Was talking to the misso as she works as an organiser for the CSA/CPSU , she helped organise the public sector rally at parliament house the other day. She echoed your words Rob, take it straight to McGowan.
They have another two and a half years before an election and their strategy like you say is to try wait for the heat to settle. I wrote to my local member Hannah Beazley a while ago regarding this and got a generic response it was pathetic.

I wrote to my Member Margaret Quirk who has always been one of the better local pollies and got a good response that she'll be following the issue. She has a proven record of sticking up for her constituents so I'll be suggesting she visit her constituents in Shore Catch, Tackle HQ and the numerous boat stores in Wangara to discuss how this will affect their business, livelihood and abilty to offer employment.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Don't suppose anybody has an appropriately worded email we could send to McGowan? I sent one to fisheries complaints but I couldn't cover much without going on forever, So I don't think It came out as well as I wanted. Cheers

Agreed Jim, a well worded email that doesn't go on too much and is to the point would be better than petitions. If we can put in our details forward it on and clog up their emails maybe they will start to take some notice.
