my dilemma,
my combo unit died !
A)...I can get a simrad NSS8 with lowrance 600w 50/200 tranny, wifi unit and gold card for $1700 (to be used as a combo unit)
B)..I can get a Lowrance elite DSI 5 with gold card...(use as chart plotter only...but also comes with tranny 83/200 down scan etc...) AND a furuno 627 with 600w 50/600 tranny (both) for under $1700.
which would you guys go for?
pick a box A or B
might as well mess with my head a bit more and give me some other options as well.....

B out of the options that
B out of the options that you have there.
My personal pick would be Raymarine a78 though. Within that price range.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Cheers for the replys guys,
should have mentioned that I fish pretty well 40m plus.
very occasionally in the sound for pinkies and very often in 70-120m range. so need something that will hit fish in those depths.
looked at the raymarine gear earlier but the downvision and chirp units seem pretty well usless to me considering the depth I'm in.
also the 1700 is the TOP lol of the $ range ......stuff like this always ...creeps though. haha
