first mulloway

got my first mulloway yesterday, got it land based and it went 110cm and 17kg. good fun and it hit the bait about 8 seconds after i casted it in, had barely finished setting the rod couldnt believe my luck

yeah cheers guys was caught on a small frozen yellowtail at around 5pm i think aha bait hit the water and i turned to walk off then the reel went a bit and it was on. nah wasnt jervoise or south mole and yeah i think i got pretty lucky with the timing and how quickly it all happened

i have found on various occasions that the mulloway will hit the bait within seconds of it hitting the bottom. Not on experience though ;) haha. Good fish!
