Why??

Fri, 2010-10-08 21:26

It has a light enough tip to work soft plastics and the extra length helps in casting distance and controlling the fish around structures.

1000 shimano is abit small, best to go 2500-3000 shimano size.

I use a 2000 sized daiwa on mine and balances fine. Type b one. The type c's are a bit heavier (and tip heavier). Not sure how much the 1000s weigh through. Probably less than the 2000s though

Caught everything from squid to cobia, hasn't failed yet.

1 spool 6lb Braid 10lb leader

2nd Spool 10lb Braid, whatever leader for the fish targeting ie 15lb to 25lb

the egi force type C is

Sat, 2010-10-09 11:02

the egi force type C is  great rod but i dont think there under 200, i think they are 259.

but if you use it a fair bit its worth it and its awsome to use.

the 1000 is a bit small, im useing a 3000 stradic and its good but im going to get the daiwa E-GEE reel they look sick. and feel good to.

as for the jewels there have been great reviews on them i havnt used one yet so cant comment on them.
