Daiwa Pirates Jig

Anybody use these Jigs yet and if you have is it better to attach them from the top or middle .

i go the middle
good idea to upgrade hooks and split rings. i straightened the hooks first time on a 12 kg dhuie.
work them real slow.

Pirate jigs -
We attach from the top and its important to use your rod tip to get some twitching action to work the jig/entice a strike. As for upgrades, changing the split ring is what we recommend but the hooks havnt been an issue for us unless your using heavy braid and/or a tight drag.

yeah awesome jigs. i use the
yeah awesome jigs. i use the top loop and cant say i ve had any problems with the hooks...back ya drag off
