Hi everyone
im goin fishing tonight at the cot groin. Has anyone been there lately and had any success. Will be there round 6pm for a couple of hours. Hoping to get some herring and maybe a tailor or two if we're lucky. We've never been there before so any tips anyone could give us would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

Hi Ash
I haven't fished there for a few weeks, but it is a great spot. I usually fish right out the end and that is normally the best for tailor.
Another good spot is just west of the reef that comes out about a third of a length of the groyne. Last time I was at Cott Groyne there were heaps of herring. I am not sure if you know or not, but you are not allowed to fish on the north side of the Groyne.
Good luck.

Hey Ash
Did you manage to hook any tailor at Cott Groyne last night? Or anything else much on the bite? I fish there myself some times but it has been pretty quiet lately.
