Collie river

Hey guys

l plan on doing a couple night fishing trips on the collie river never really fished it can you catch Mulloway in there this time of year l was thinking l fishing at the junction is that a good spot for this time of year? Any advice

Try the snags near the mouth of Millars creek or any spot with overhanging peppermint trees, give them a good shake to drop plenty of ants in the water---fresh burley for blackies

Mainly black bream but you can get mulloway all the way up past the junction, just fish each snag for 20-30minutes then move on to the next one

 Anywhere from the junction upstream you will get some soapie. Late afternoon/ evening is the best time. We use mullet for strip bait with good success. Sometimes just need to be patient and let them run once you have a bite. Enjoy, great way to spend and evening
