Dreamtime I dont think I would want a cool off swim out there for sure. I personally know how hard it is to cut a mackie into steaks and if you arent accurate with the cut between the vertebra it takes some force. One chomp with that radius would seriously leave a human with some serious issues.

Hmmm get the feeling with the increased presence of sharks each season that we could be looking at a close on jigging season in the near future!!

Certainly hope the left over bits went in the icebox and not back to try to keep the bities busy while the next fish is brought up.

would have been a couple of nice size fish for sure, pity they got munched . hopefully the sharks move on but i dont think that will happen when there is an easy feed to be had

When you are up there, if you see a shark on the sounder you move on because you know whats going to happen.

yeh sometimes fishing for sambo's is pointless because of the sharks , if that occurs usually just stop fishing lol , waste of a good fish otherwise. nice size on them tho , sambo steaks anyone ?

It's funny how people are getting their backs up about sharks, geezs it happens every trip up north just about. Use the correct tackle in the right areas and if you get sharked move on i guess just like us northwesters do.
