Broome at Chrissy

Hi all driving up to broome for christmas and new year to meet some mates travlin up that way anyone know whats on offer that time of the year will have a tinny and good land based equip . gunna drive back all along the coast in hope of mulloway been tryin for years so hopefully somewhere along there will produce cheers

You could try your luck up
You could try your luck up the fitzroy river for barra - theres a few places to bank launch a tinny or just set up camp and fish from the bank. Both can work depending on where you end up fishing. Be warm though!!
All the creeks around Broome can deliver depending on the tides - dampier, willie and crab. You can easily launch a tinnie at any of these - willie and crab are bank launch but easy.
FishFinder books is pretty handy - will give you enough info on all spots north of Gero? I think.
Wherever you end up keep an eye on the weather forecast as its the wet up here - arvo storms are happening pretty regularly and they can dump heaps of rain in no time.

A lot will depend on the weather but Dampier creek is worth a look for barra and crab creek for threadiies, mulloway(black jew) or the odd barra. Willie creek if the roads accessable for barra and jacks. Heaps of queenies and trevally out from Entrance point at the moment and should continue and plenty of Tripletail around the moorings in the bay. Fitzroy may be worth a look depending on how much rainfall there has been further up in the catchment area which at this stage of the year is already getting loads so may be shut down by christmas and as Predetec said will be bloody hot by then.
