3 people needed for jigging trip Sun 5th Dec

Hey guys. I have booked out the boat with Mills for a jigging trip on Sunday 5th Dec. WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO THE PATCH. WE WILL BE GOING TO THE BARGES. I really need the last 3 people to make this happen. I promise you it will be a good day. cost will be $220 and this will include jigs for the day (you wont have to buy any jigs at all) Have 12 people so far, but need 3 more. If you bring your own gear, you can fish all day if you want to (or have a rest for a beer or 2). Please send me a PM or reply on here if you are keen. The sambos are now on the chew and are finally hitting the jigs on the barges, and there are some BIG sambos out there. Would be good to catch up and meet some new people from here. The boat will be the Aussie Warrior which is a great boat for jigging and also has large flat screen tv and a kick arse stereo system.

Cheers

Motty

15? Sounds crowded!

15? Sounds crowded, how many do saltwater run?

Isn't it only $1500 to book the boat out for a day? That would work out at $100ea.

Their website says '8 hour all day cruises' $3,300.  15 x $220 = $3,300 Bingo!

There are others on this site that pay for that privilege.

Na this is just a sneaky underhanded way for mills to collect money from fishwrecked people. Motty says he is hiring the boat, that way it doesn't look like mills managment is advertising on fw and that makes it ok.

When its all said and done, Mills are taking money from the people that Saltwater pay to advertise to.

guys, THIS IS A PERSONAL

guys, THIS IS A PERSONAL CHARTER THAT I HAVE BOOKED MYSELF, AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ADVERTISING MILLS. I wish you would all just grow up. Its ok for someone to advertise a nebraska charter on here, but heaven forbid a mills charter gets advertised. Oh my goodness, there are soo many more important things in life to worry about instead of a bloke just trying to get some extra numbers for a fishing trip. I mean, come on, I actually feel sorry for you lot that put a guy down cause he is trying to go out on a trip. I have spoken to Adam about this, and reiterated the fact that this was my charter, and nothing to do with mills advertising. I respect the fact that craig is the only charter company that sponsors this great site, and completely agree that because of this fact, no other charter company should be able to advertise their business. I AM NOT ADVERTISING MILLS!!!! I cleared this with Adam, and as far as I am concerned, if he says its ok, then NONE of you have anything to complain about. all i wanna do is go out for a fish, I mean of course I am going to go out on mills as i work for them, and naturally i get a discount for this reason, so why wouldnt I? If you dont have anything informative to say in this thread, please leave it alone!!!

Motty perhaps you need to review your comments in the post linked below which was started well before your request for numbers on your personal trip.  You may then understand why some on this site see your comments as advertising / touting. jmo.

fair suck of the sav ladies

Wed, 2010-12-01 11:06

the kid wants to go fishing. let him go, and stop giving him shit for it.

you reckon his boss would be happy if he went out on the oppositions charter boat? he would probably loose his job. think a bit further ahead fellas. he cleared it with gallash, and i'm sure he would support the site sponsor if he was allowed to.

motty, if i didnt own my own boat, i would probably have gone out with you, just to shut some of these whingers up.

good luck mate, and make sure your boss uses the release weight.

If you are getting a discount... then why is the price still $220 when divided by 15? Isn't that the normal price?

The price is INCLUDING all

Wed, 2010-12-01 19:27

The price is INCLUDING all jigs on the day (when ya work out $10/jig it adds up pretty quick). And the extra coin is going towards some alcoholic beverages.

Yeah heks, I work part time for mills. I got a full time job during the week as a supervisor for a roofing company, just do the deckying cause i love bein out on the water and bein around ppl who love to fish. best part of it is seein a customers face light up when they hook up to a good fish.

Motty go for it

Wed, 2010-12-01 22:12

I wish I could come out but at the moment I am on compo with a back injury which is doing my head in cause im itching for a crack at some sambos. Only reason i mention saltwater is as hekser said craig is cheaper and never had to pay for a jig on his boat. At the end of the day though a good day on the water is priceless
