Bream Spots in Perth?

A Merry Christmas to all. Hope you have a great day.

Im home in Perth for the holidays from Hedland. Normally I dont fish in the metro areas as Ive been spoilt by whats in the Pilbara. But Im itching to wet a line. Does anyone or will anyone tell me some spots where I can go bother the bream. Im strictly catch and release. No need to give away your secrect spots. I just want to kill some time and have a bit of fun.

Thanks in advance for any contributions.

Give Garvey Park area a try a bit further up from ascot. Always reliable for some Bream and no blowies yet.

I know a lot of you are

I know a lot of you are focusing on upstreamspots mainly, but canning bridge if yo can hit it on the tide change where the water isnt raging you're a deffinite chance on crabs or mussels. If you're going lures, i prefer hard bodies in this stretch of the river purely because of the blowies, like atomic hardz, SX40's they alldo the trick. the only softies you need in your aresenalare ZMAN 2.5' grubz, they kill it in motor oil or bloodworm. the trees that provide shade over the river bank between south perth yacht club and canning bridge have been producing well for me, and there are some decent sized ones hanging around there to.
