Boat sank

I saw a guy on the news tonight who I met about 12 or so years ago in Exmouth. Him his mate and two kids were lucky, boat caught on fire, he set off the eperp, chucked on the life jackets and jumped over with the esky. He is one of those cool under pressure type of guys who was a brilliant freediver, pig hunter back then. He said the boat sunk like a stone and his poor mate had a lure hooked in his leg with the line and rod attached to the boat. Im so glad that they are ok, it must be horrible to be in a situation like that. He bought the boat off his sister two weeks prior.

saw that
It was off Palm Beach in Sydney. The boat was a 12-metre Frost FlyBridge steel-hulled cruiser. ouch.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
