Hi guys
Thinking of going down to Binningup for some yellow fin whiting off the beach on the weekend.
Are the schools of whiting still there and what's the depth of the water thinking of brining a small popper along for the whiting otherwise l will just use prawns.
Cheers

if u want whiting on the beaches use a small longshank hook and bloodworm
they LOVE bloodworm. binningup is very reefy, i would suggest myalup or preston instead. but if your set on binningup and uve got a wetsuit and a "snair" i would suggest hunting around for crays about 15-20m out
Good things come to those who bait.

They were still there last
They were still there last Sun morning - right at the boat launching area. I haven't seen any during the week due to the sw winds and swell. Sat looks like sw winds but sun morning looks like se as long as the swell doesn't stir things up you will be able to see them if the are there (5 - 10m out over the sand, from the bottom to just under the surface). Would be good on poppers I think...

Camped down at Myalup the last two weekends and the whiting are still on the bite using prawns, squid and ox heart. Picked up some nice herring and tailor as well.
