Big baits worthwhile at guildford

I fish the river from top to bottom every weekend, i'm out generally feeding them to get bigger, but occasionally i have a good win, i've been doing pretty well on black bream at guildford recently, and have heard rumours of tailor and mulloway getting up as far as garvey park, just wondering if it would be worth putting a bigger bait in the channel up around guildford bridge to see what happens, couldn't be a bad idea, surely

Cant find the post maybe do a search for it, definately worth soaking a livie or nicely presented dead bait while you have some fun on the bream.
From what i read anyway, haven't done much fishing in the river myself

was there today having a blast of decent size bream .. 25-30cm models. was quiet, hardy any wind then next minute i hear loud splashing, i could see a school of fish jumping, being chased near the beach area part down at fishmarket reserve... looked like when you see a bait school being harassed by tuna etc. i didnt fish there was bout 50-70 metres up the river .. might have to hit it up again and try a nice livie!
would love to land a mulla from the guildford one day.

Plenty of action in the river at the moment. I've had a few livebaits absoltely smashed out recently. Screaming reels ... awesome! Last week had a surgically clean crescent moon bite through one of them ... gotta be shark, ended up a dropped run :-(
