Best way to get to Ganaraloo
Hello all, I need some advice please
I have never fished Gnaraloo but have an opportunity to visit April 2016. I am a little inexperienced with fishing but am paying several people to organize food/accomodation/fuel/gear etc
I will pay for them to bring a boat there and launch it and take me and my son out.
I don't have time for a long road trip so the original plan was to fly into Carnarvon and get picked up by my friends and driven to Ganaraloo. The only probems is that Skippers Aviation is not taking bookings at present as apparently the Perth-Carnarvon flight is up for tender and this hasn't been formalized yet.
Is it thus an option to fly into Learmonth and get driven to Gnaraloo? It doen't look too far on Google Earth but I appreciate that looks are decieving and in reality it may be a longer bumpier drive
I would appreciate it if anyone has any experience and can please advise
Regards

airstrip
there's an airstrip on the way to the bay... fly straight there! if youre payin blokes to drive your boat there, organise fuel, etc, then you've probably got the coin to charter a flight to the airstrip.
gnaraloo is only accessible from the south. you cant go north of gnaraloo, or south past the southern boundary of waroorra

About 300km south from airport down to blowholes turn off and then you turn around and travel about 140km north to the station.
Unfourtnetly no access to Gnaraloo from the north.

North west air works.
Give north west air works a call and get a price to fly from exmouth to gnarloo. They have small planes and do charter flights. Its not that far to gnarloo from exmouth by air and probably wouldnt be that expensive and a plus you get to see the amazing coastline from the air. Can highly recommend them.
