Best shallow diving spango lures

Any one have any advice on these? I have halco skin deeps but other than that I know nothing about minnow type lures. Any help would be much appreciated. Cant wait to don the backpack and stroll the exmouth coast flicking lures at spangleds and trevors hope I can get some great photos of the trip.

RMG Scorpions in Gold are dynamite, you can get them in various diving depths and sizes.  Also don't rule out Halco Roosta poppers in the gold colour as well

advice

We use the Halco Skin deeps up there and a great lure especially if the fish are a bit quiet in hitting surface poppers. For L/B you dont want deeper divers than S/deeps, some of the best spango spots are nast shallow ground.

Not the best L/B casting lure with weight and profile but it gets out there. Cast out/wind the lure down/steady wind/flick the rod tip down &  wind the slack and so on. When winding the slack it will give the skin deep a time of pause which is often when the fish hit it.

Many diffewrent ways of working the lure but that works for us but we do mix it up. Spangos/coral trout/goldens/GT/quennies that all eat it and squid follow them in.

Gold skin deeps are our favourite, just make sure you have a good selection of poppers & stickbaits also for Exmouth landbase.

I'll be up there soon doing the landbase & boat stuff cant wait

Just secured myself a 4.2m tinnie from exmouth boat hire for a week so me and the old boy will be able to get out and chuck a few lures around inside the reef hope we get a couple of nice days. Should hppefull expand our options significantly, bring on the light tackle action! Thankyou for all the help and advice

Yup, two articles :-p picked up the last copy on the site where I work. On a side note brought a Daiwa Steez Power Junkie spin rod to pair up with the stella 4000. Just the trip to oceanside for my lures, jigheads etc. tracking down a stire with the rod I wanted was a bit hard on the mobile bill id say but I did find one eventually been lucky so far hope it continues while im fishing.
