anyone heading out of woodies tomorrow?

doing my first kinda wide mission, to the 40s . 28km one way from cockburn ramp. hoping for some dhues / baldies... anyone else going to be around and wanna head out together? im 16 ft ali, 3 on board. my brother gave me some area to try that they picked up some decent fish earlier in the week.
heading out 7am, back by 2.
any reasons why i shouldnt head out that far? 40hp mariner, 70l fuel on board . easterly in morning to get me out and sw in arvo.. head back round 12 hopin to be at ramp 1.30
never taken this tub out that far, usually fish ffb. just hoping for something good.

I have a 6.8 seaquest and had intended to head out but deferred until Saturday and the 40 metre line is only 9.4 nms from the Garden / Carnac Channel

10 nm from smack bang between the two then another 5 from there to ramp . 15 nm is 27.78 km.. im planning on a 7am launch so punching out with a 15 ene , dropping off to 4 atm 11, then changing to a ssw, ill be heading back on that change

sick of catching trumpter and butterfish :P i cant find anything inshore.. havent even caught a skippy for a few months... time to try something different

haha fair enough.I havnt fished ffb itself for about 10 years now. Always the start of it or the drop. There is some pretty good ground off the back edge in 20-30m if you look hard enough. I found a new lump last week that i just can't wait to try !!

pulled the pin.
wont have enough tme out there, i woulda been ok wiht 10 drifts and back in but its alot of fuel for 40 mins of fishing. will wait till the winds calm
