Hi mate,
Your son has saved a good amount for a nice outfit, I would assume that he wants to use a spin outfit?
Feel free to send us a PM and we can make a couple of different options suitable for his needs.
Cheers

Hi guys....
Yes he is chasing a spinning outfit..........suitable for softies....with enough grunt to tackle some bruisers....Dhuys, Baldies, Spangeled Empror etc....
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you ....

I have a 15-30lb shimano
I have a 15-30lb shimano terez which I have found a great versatile rod. The tip is very responsive but the rod has a nice curve under load. I've mainly fished it with a 8000 stradic FJ, but that's actually a bit heavy and big. I recently put on a 5000 stella which is better combo for sure, but will be slightly out of budget. A 5000 stradic FJ would cut it a reckon. Very tough little reel.

Check out the Eupro Giant
Check out the Eupro Giant King PE 1-3 6ft or PE 2-4 7'6(light popping) and match it up with a Stradic 5000fj and you should have enough left in the budjet for braid aswell.
