For those that don't have a battery meter on their boat console, this little device will come handy. Recently installed 2 on my boat (have 3 batteties). It costs about $10 and I reckon, a very worthwhile accessory. I simply cut the ends off and wired them directly to the isolators.

When the engine is off, it measures the battery output. When the engine is on, it measures the alternator output making sure the batteries are getting charged.
