These ones were originally wild caught, then domesticated and then we bought them as the other hatchery in Carnarvon decided to go with gold spot grouper (estuary cod) instead. You can hand feed them mulies some days, others they are too finicky (that will change in time once they become used to us) We fed them a few live mullet today and it was like Christmas - the colour change was sensational when they became excited. I will try and take some more stills from my video camera, this pic was just after they were introduced to their new tank.

You need to set up an underwater web cam Ads. There is a nice one on the jetty

. would be great seeing them growing but its a pity you wont be able to take them for a swim when you go diving
