Well, all these squid reports coming from SOR, I thought I better show that us Northerners can get stuck into them in our home ground ;) Quick dozen on Sunday morning out from Hillarys. 5 were good size, about 25cm mantle, but no monsters.

Ooops, forgot to add (fixed now), but yeah, Hillarys. Must be good weed banks off Mindarie/Ocean Reef/Two Rocks too, but havent heard a lot about it (plus we were on time constraints so straight for a known spot). Been working on some DIY squid lights after seeing yours too Rob. Tried one in the bung but not sure if I trust it :p

Pretty close, but not quite as big. Might have to try a dedicated night session for those ones. Light is waiting for me to get some thin marine grade wire to epoxy into the light. Will put a pic up when I get it done.
And what you do on your own time with your own money is your own business, haha.
