Know it real well

Know the gate real well.took a 24footer under it with a mast head light on the cabin top and only remembered it as front wheels hit the grid, tooo late, goodbye light and mast.
Should have known, had been there dozens of time before but none with that size boat.Oh well had to happen sooner or later and by looking at the marks on the top I wasn't the first one!!

Heard a few reports lately that the road in is pretty rough compared to the last few year.Lot of trailers coming back into town missing mudguards.

Ya WODF was good to get back

Fri, 2009-05-08 14:50

Ya WODF was good to get back to gnaraloo again and we got more variety of fish than we were expecting so that was great.

The track was pretty average carnarvonite but we got through with out any damage to anything so thats a bonus. We left the boat in the water so we didnt have to tow it down every day that section from the homestead to the bay was shocking but we just towed the tyres down and back every day that seemed to keep it a little bit better. It gets to you a bit but thats why its the place it is and relatively untouched i hope it stays that way for years to come.
