Magic out on the water yesterday.
Got 5 nice KGs in the arvo, with the biggest going 45cm.
40 mins before sundown, I started the burley trail and just as light disappeared the rod got hammered. After a quick fight, up popped a nice gummy.

Hi Beau, the whiting were in about 5-6m.
What I have found best is to drift over likely areas (reef and or weed with patchy sand holes) with a slice of mullie fillet or tiny piece of prawn. If drift is too strong, I anchor up. I usually move spots ever 5mins as they usually hammer the bait if they are in the area. On quiet days I might use some burley, but usually find this is not required.
If you catch squid in an area, you will likely catch KGs there too.

Def a great feed there. Entre and mains would be well received with that lot
