One for the "Softies"

One for the "Softies"

Going to try this rig out tomorrow. Lumo sqiuds on top of Tsunami soft plastics. Hopefully the red head will look like the squid has taken a bite and the blood is running, so some passing 20kg dhuie might think...hmmm looks like an easy meal while the squid is distracted.....chomp!

I'll let you know how it goes.

Could have been anything with that title Andy.
Interesting concept you got there with the combo. Will be good to see if it works for you.

Threesome

Andy.....you may find a three way swivel will have the rubbbers spinning out of control......those paddle tails need to be kept upright to swim properly.

Might try something else

Mon, 2007-08-13 10:37

Yeah Salmo, the paddletails must be the problem. Perhaps a combo with another SP without the big tail might work.

Any ideas for suitable SP's to try in this fashion, minus the ugly line twist?

Salmo with "Threesomes" and "Viagra" ... OK what's next? "Vibrating Tails" could be my problem.

Cheers

Dropper knot with a gamatsu worm hook

Thu, 2007-08-16 10:48

Paternoser rig
Dropper knot with a gamatsu worm hook works....then you can just use 5-6" tails like snapbacks or Atomic Jerks, 5" Fatgrubs etc

Basically what the breamers call a dropshot rig

Cheaper than B2 squids.....and suitable for those big Berkley tails and Tiki Man minnows.
