Not going to see this again
To cut a long story short Boxy on Azura hooked and lost a black marlin on Thursday and when they retrieved their lure it had another rig tangled in it. It turns out it was the same fish we hooked and lost a week ago

and the rig was mine. He called the fish for 150kg and it is now swimming around on it's third life! The rig and leader had been connected to the fish for 5 days and it was still feeding. I think hook ups were about 10nm apart.
We managed to get the lure back when we originally hooked the fish as it had slid up over the swivel but the rest of the rig is in excellent condition. I was tempted to dismantle it for parts but have decided to retire it as a talking point.
Now I just have to get myself a new pink/white Richter Soft Oscar to replace this guy.

Ha! That's very interesting
Ha! That's very interesting to see that even with your rig in it's mouth it was still out feeding on other things! Definately straight to the pool room for that one!
