North Mole Herring
Submitted by Daniel Westerduin on Tue, 2008-05-27 09:07
Been hitting the North Mole quite a bit lately, and the fishings been pretty good most days. Heres a pic of a few herring I've caught while passing the time waiting for a bigger fish to come by. These were from the kiosk end.

The trick is to use some
The trick is to use some berley plus soak a rag in Tuna/fish oil and hang it by some fishing line so it just drips into the water. I use tiny pieces of mulies. So fillet a mulie then cut the fillets into tiny pieces. Herring can be found at most rock walls and jetties. Off the rocks I mostly use a light float so baits are closer to the surface. Early morning is quite often a good time to try otherwise after dark. Good luck.

It doesn't really matter all
It doesn't really matter all is good, the berley and tuna oil bring the fish to you.
