my new set up

I got myself this for my birthday, it's a monster mesh popper rod and a dogfight to match. What braid would everyone recommend to put on the reel, it will be used just for popper fishing up north and maybe the odd bit of jigging every now and then.

I quite like TD sensor as well, but then I also like my coloured braid as its quite useful (for jigging, or judging how much line the fish is taking in reefy territory). Daiwa make a few types.

Yep
I'd go with Thippers, 80lb will stop some solid gt's, just get your knots up to speed!

Very nice mate indeed, ryan
Very nice mate indeed, ryan and the rest are spot on with there choice. The smooth round line that the sensor is makes it for awsome casting and great knot tying the only way to go in my opinion.
Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
