Multiple Whale Sounder Shot

Had over 20 small whales surround the boat on Saturday for 15 minutes, they continuously swam around, right up to and under the boat, having a phatt old time. They were only small, 20-25 ft long and had baleen, so were plankton feeders, and had a small fine on top. Not sure what type whale they were, they were not dolphins or porpoises.
Cool sounder shot.

Somebody posted a vid on here...
...some time ago. I think they're dwarf minke whales and are known for being quite curious and tend to hang around boats much longer than other cetaceans.

Yep
They are not shy. Had a similar experience last time out in similar depths.
Bit intimidating, love to know if the tranny sends them nuts - should have turned it off to test the theory.

Quite an experience having
Quite an experience having whales around the boat. We had 4 humpbacks come and have a look at us on Monday. One surfaced to spray only 5 meters off the boat and I was surprised how loud it was. Then they swam right under the boat and manged to get them on the go pro.
