Little estuary cod
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Thu, 2008-02-14 22:23
Went for a marina bash and got this little estuary cod, along with another smaller one, two moses perch and a sand bass all released. Got bricked by a really good jack and another estuary cod bigger than this one, ah well. Ran out of mulies as they were starting to come on the bite, but a bit of fun for a few hours.

Sounds like a good session
Nice to have a place where you can catch a variety of good fish that is accessible to almost everyone.

yeh mate
Theres certainly some bigger fish swimming in that marina. I was fishing the lead up to the low and trying to get the tide change but was still getting bites every bait. Forgot to add daylight savings into the tide times and got there an hour earlier than I wanted, but was better than sittin at home watchn the box.
Theres heaps of liveys in the marina but your not allowed to cast net within a km either side or inside the marina. You can go just down from the marina and cast net for small yellowfin whiting thou.
