Amount of times I fished our amazing Swan River I never came across the Flounder even whilst chasing Flathead in summer. But today was the day, alittle short day at work and was in the general area so decided to go for a flick after. I was astound with my accomplishment of landing my first Flounder haha. Honestly, I was so stoked and even though there wasn't no blistering runs or violent headshakes it still gave me the thrill, but I guess its not the fishing but the scenery and experience. Thats why I fish. Anyway, she was released to see another day.

Rod: Browning 1-3kg 7ft Bream rod

Reel: Stradic Ci4 1000

Line: Team Daiwa 4lb braid with 6lb Nitlon dfc flurocarbon leader.

Lure: Snapback 4'' in Avacodo Green with 1/12 Fuse jighead.
