Looks like somewhere close to where i get plenty of pike (actually snook not pike) on soft plastics.
Stopped into a place on sunday on the way back in, only in 1.5m of water and would have had a dozen easy of these big boys going nuts. Catch a skippy and the snook were attempting to eat them while still hooked!
dam right, there an awsome fight this one was taken on 4lb line and a small metal slice. ended up with 8 all around this size in about an hour. they were caught just off cervantes
Must hold some big ones up that area. I've caught a handful of ones in Perth and down south and they're around 40cm, but up in cervantes, they were about a meter or so. Trolling x-rap 8's and 10's and they'd only need to be in the water for a minute at some areas.
My old mans mate caught a Snooke or Pike while we were night fishing that was thicker then a coke can easily more then a metre long , it was like a Barracuda , and he caught it in the sound lol i was like WTF its on Roids
those weed banks load up big time. i used to troll the old way for them with weighted lead lines. was shown by an old local Tooker davies. Some where huge and also got the odd mack and near where you are there is a bombie which we trolled a dhu up.
