lets not go there
jangles,
i wouldnt say this fish beats anyone else's fish. its a very personal thing and not a competition. its an achievement for me nonetheless, yet I know there are still better anglers and captures out there than this.
it was on a Twinpower PG 8000 with a Tenryu Jigzam Pe3-5. On PE4 YGK Galis Ultra Jigman and 60lb Flourocarbon Varivas Leader. [took a bit of line ;)] plus an absolute shipload of luck. and a very knowledgeable skipper.

Second session
I'm usually pretty good with the old iki and when I got the sweet spot it bearly shuddered, already cactus I'm afraid so the right decision was made. Besides Ian and the boys at the fisheries research dept were pretty happy to get their hands on one this size. Hopefully we will find out how old it was shortly.
Cheers
