Your Pride and Joy

Wondering what rod/reel combo is your favourite, the one that gets that extra little bit of attention over the others. Landed that extra special fish or just stood the test of time.
Mine would have to be my little ambassador 6500c4 matched with an abu morrum 6kg stick. It has landed some fish that I though were going to destroy me and has to come with wherever I go. Got a special combo that is your pride and joy?

Purple it is
Yep, its that little purple one.. Unfortunately they sold out of the gold ones the day before. :( That thing has some serious guts to it for a light stick.
My favourite for a long time was my shimano soccoro 10kg 7ft'er. It was the destroyer, I ended up retiring it from duty when to got a bit bent on the way down south. Apart from that my spheros 12000FA has been the ducks nuts. Seems you get what you pay for in most circumstances.

Tough nut
My Mitchell 488 has stood the test of time - dropped on rocks, dropped in the sand, covered in salt water for 17 years and still works a treat. Service wise it has only been rinsed in fresh water, had a bit of Mitchell reel lube with a dash of CRC. In tandem with an Ugly Stick, its provided many a feed.

mine would have to be my TLD
mine would have to be my TLD 20, Ive had it for about 8 years now never missed a beat. Its been serviced once and only rinsed down with fresh water after being used, top real in my opinion.Close behind would be the T curve jig stick tones of guts and so light weight, my penn applause 4000 and 4-6kg evo graff rod is the current weapon of choice when fishing light sportfishing.
