Silly question guys but how do you pronounce Yeagarup (as in the one down south WA)
I have heard
You - garup
yay - garup
yee - garup
Any locals able to shed light on this? It's doing my head in how many different names people call it

All wrong.
Everyone I go fishing wish pro-nounce it "YEA-GERUPS" after the sand dunes in the area and yes there is certainly a lot of salmon down there at the moment and a good size as well.

Yee
Always been Yee for as long as I can remember or as the old man and his rellies from Pemberton called the area "Warren"after the mouth of the river.
