Kids Fishing Clinic
Thanks for posting this Ryan. The clinic has been organised to give young people the opportunity to get into fishing, get some good advice on catching local species, including Pink Snapper, and learn about rigs, bait, tactics and more from some of the experienced members a CPBA. It has been made possible due to support from Recfishwest and Oceanside Tackle, and should be a great event and a lot of fun. The first session is this Sunday at 7-30am at CPBA. If anyone has any interest please call John or Cindy at Cockburn Power Boats Association on 9418 5868, as we still have a few spots avaliable.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

Have to agree with thesupervisor
I took 5 of the boys on to the Sea Rescue Launch and boy did they have fun. Kept me busy as hell. All of them caught fish of one type or another but the highlight of our hour of fishing was for young Austin to claim a double header. A Bald Chin Grouper and a Pinkie. Unfortunately undersize. I understand that onboard Ashram they caught 49 fish. Not sure how much was caught onboard Dogtooth and for me on the Sea Rescue Launch I didn't have time to count how many were caught and released but all up about 12 - 14 different species were caught 20 minutes from the CPBA ramp between the 3 boats.
Thanks go to Ryan at Oceanside for assisting with the rods and reels each kid took home. Also kudos to the Cockburn Sea Rescue Crew for taking us out, very much appreciated.
The boys and girls are all looking forward to another fun filled fishing trip on the 4th Feb and will be going to bed praying that the wind behaves in their favour that morning.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to take photos but hopefully Ritchie68 and Rhyss can supply them.

Thanks guys and glad we could assist, for 1 hour that's a good diversity and numbers of fish landed > big smiles all around.
