Winter blues

Got up to go get a coffee and it was pissing rain !! Got some stuff for the home and seen it was a bit patchy ? So took the punt and shot too the tackle store and got some crab bait and shot to my local crab spot !!! Mrs was keen so we spent 3hrs and ended up with some nice clean winter blues !! Got 11 all up !! Which wasn't too bad !! Bit of spleen and some mullet cost me 10$ !! So pretty happy with the haul !!! Cheers fellas !! Da pirate !!!

Good job man! Just down at a local marina now trying to get a few in the nets. No luck yet but a guy just caught one on his fishing line rite in between my nets. Talk about a slap in the face! Haha

Yeah thought you might of been. Unfortunately land based tonight tho, nice to change things up once in a while tho. Cheers mate, no luck tonight tho for me, but still good to get out, had a few good chats with other keen fishers hangen around the marina.

From the pic they look to be of good size where they, we seem to be getting a lot of jennies at the moment they blues are conspicuous by there absence.

G'day meglodon !! Yeah lots of females too !! There weren't too bad size !! If you look up in the top left hand corner you can see my mrs black shoe !! Too give you somthing to gauge from ! Mind you my girlfriend had little feet !! Ha ha ha !! Fisheries were there I think they we're waiting for us coz there was only one car with a trailer left !! Still no probs he gauge 2 !! And didn't bother with the rest !! Cheers pirate !!

G'Day Pirate, were they metro? I never concisdered having a crack at crabs during the colder months so I'm interested to know if was Perth or up North?

G'day rigpig !! Yeah mate local northern marinas mate !! Always seem to do better in the colder mths coz everyone thinks summer is the go and they get flogged out !! Couple mths rest seems to be the go !! Cheers mate !! Pirate !!!
