I have read with trepidation some of the post and cringed because of females and youngsters on this site.
Supposed to be all about helping and fishing photos, Not slamming and swear words. There will always be opinions like on the boat etiquette post, but nobody getting angry, just posting their view, and thats fair enough, Just because I skin a cat in a certain way doesnt mean how others do that is wrong, We all end up with a skinned cat.
But just for information who was canned because I had my eye on a few.

swearing. Sure I go off as we all do but it is well disguised and not meant to offend anyone else apart from who it is directed at. And then it is usually a safety reason, like that prawn fisherman1992 wanting to fish in a tinny in a storm. I dont think he thought about the lives of the recuers at all.

Yep alot of newbies get growled at for asking questions that have been asked before, posting stuff in"wrong" forums and alot of opinions are aired out without too much thought into how it is presented. It can be quite off putting for all user's. alot of members would be weary of posting and commenting with the possibility of harsh responses.
Self Monitoring goes along way to relieving this problem. IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT SOMETHING GOOD OR CONSTRUCTIVE TO SAY BITE YA TONGUE.
We shouldn't just relie on the site monitors to keep and cleanup forums and topics. A few topics are sensitive and posts can be very heated but no need for bad language or personal attacks, it's a sign of a general society with more agro and violence

Personally if a question is asked again, I will answer it
I dont like the answer, do the search, because all we want is an answer. It is rough on newbies who might not know the site to be subjected to abuse from senior statesman about asking legit question. Just answer them and then maybe point to the search for better results.
All everyone tries to do is be better at fishing than they are, and thats the fun on here.
No need to cut anyone short IMO.

Unfortunatly they will probly be back mate. Its funny tho, they abuse people on here and cause problems and get kicked off but then come crawling back under a new name. If they wanna be part of this site so bad then why dont they just play by the rules?! Is it really that hard?!

I'm sure the other sites will welcome them , and lets face it without the weekly " I got kicked off FW " post, they would have nothing to talk about .

as well, don't need spiteful, swearing or abusive comments here, we all should be congratulated on good days fishing, thrown in with some advice on none related fishing, as it doesn't matter what age we are, we all learn something new in our every day living. There are other fishing sites that seem to cater for ex-FW's.
Totally agree on the no swearing, I'm married to a retired Road train driver, used to wear ear muffs in the truck when on a country road with him or round the city, but I'm married to the old fart what we say in each others company, I guess like a lot of you fellas stays between husband and wife, when the kiddies are in bed or out playing.
This site is a excellent site for children to or young teenagers to say something or put up their very proud photos of their PB fish.
Take my hat off to Adam for keeping the standard up for mainly a male dominated site, with a handful of females hahah
