Which braid
Submitted by Jutty on Wed, 2012-04-04 17:08
Hi guys and girls
After a bit of advice after the best braid I can get my hands on in the 15-20lb range for my heartland 3000. It is paired to a blade n tails in heavy for the boat and a seajigger 315 for land based.
Have tried and liked td sensor, sensor surf, hyper tournament, tuf line and Veros on other combos and all have pros and cons would love to get some opinions or am I better with the devil I know rather than the devil I don't?
Cheers

G'day mate, have a search
G'day mate, have a search through the search button on the left hand side, there's heaps on this subject, I use power pro , some people don't like it but it's worked well for me. I think alot of people on here are using daiwa boat braid,

Braid
Hey mate thx for the heads up but I think boat braid only comes in 55 and 80lb so might be overkill on a 3000 reel.
Would like people's current first hand information in regards to new braids such as the new slick 8 power pro.
Will def get my ass into gear and search also.

The Daiwa Saltiga Boat Braid
The Daiwa Saltiga Boat Braid is available in PE3/4/5/6 & 8, but I use tufline xp for lighter classes.

I like the sunline castaway.
I like the sunline castaway. for casting. I dont know how much difference the "cast" away makes but it seems a bit stiffer. I like this for casting.
