Where to fish in mandurah

 Going to mandurah over the Christmas break, I have a boat and would like to try some offshore fishing in that area with the family.

could anyone please advise of any spots to try for trolling and bottom fishing.

 Any where west of the five fathom bank is likely - 29 mts or deeper. The ground is pretty flat so you need to find hard bottom with your sounder. Difficult  to find lumps but there are dhuies, king george, black arse on hard flat ground. Just drift for a while & if you catch reef fish - sergent baker / wrasse etc then fillet them & drift over the same area again. I woudnt bother with the James Service unless you like skippy.
