some places like leighton beach, city beach, floreat drain, etc are pretty good places. you'll probably get some herring or a tailor or 2 if you put in the hours around those areas. otherwise up towards burns beach is not a bad spot in the north, and if you've got a fourby, go even further north than 2 rocks and you are in with a pretty good shot. it really depends what you are after too.
Hey newtoperth, try burns beach, north of the swan river. Great reef spots for tailor and sand patches close for whiting. Use a pilchard on gangs at dusk wind in slowly for the tailor. If you have a 4x4 try pipidinny, north before yanchep its good fun in the 4wd and you can get the same species there, google earth will show you the tracks.

Head south to Tims and Whitehills, or any of the beaches south of rockingham with a 2by.
