save some more $$

At around $1000 you could pick up a humminbird side imaging sounder with the current market.

Best of all they now include down imaging as well as side and convential 2D. Once again best of all you simply upload the new software as it is developed for free.........it takes a matter of minutes.

so now I get a screen with down imaging, side imaging and 2D...got em surroundedWink

can't compete with that.

Well worth the $$

Rod Pallistor has a good

Rod Pallistor has a good second hand unit for under your budget. See his fore sale add in the buy&sell section. Rod has Joondalup Boatshack and does good deals.
more important you need to know what you want from your sounder, what kind of fishing you do and how much space you have on the boat.

good luck

Tony
