Gents,
I've just upsized from my 6m haines to a 680 haines which has a through hull tranducer. While I'm told it's a 1kw transducer I just wanted to veryfy and was wondering if anyone here may have the same one. Its an airmar and the code on the tranducer cable states: C344 C 1225 ROHS
Did an internet search on the phone but couldn't find any solid info. Its matched to a raymarine C120 sounder/plotter.
Also if anyone has the same unit I have a few questions if you dont mind.
Cheers/Ben

Measure it!
Use the dimensions to line it up with one of these.

If its a in-hull its a M260.

If I recall correctly,
If I recall correctly, doesn't the Raymarine need a DSM300 to punch out 1kw ? If you don't have one of these it's probably only putting out 600w even if it is a 1kw tranny.
If you do have one then more than likely it is 1kw

Thanks for that, will give
Thanks for that, will give it a measure when I get a chance. Its through hull.
Yes ive got the DSM300 module. You would think to buy a 12" unit with DSM module you would fit a decent tranny.
