Rod insurance?
I heard of dog insurance but insurance for fishing kit that broke is a new one on me!
will they do gang hooks and sinkers cause I lost a s..t load of those over the years ( not my fault, bloody reef) .
I like my penn prevail , they come right up to 3.6metres in a 2 or 3 piece with lots of slighty smaller models in between
, very good quality for below 300 smackeroos.

That's a new one on me too, under what policy were you able to claim and what kind of excess were you up for?

I'm guessing home insurance...
...with contents. As long as you say the rod was broken in the house. I've claimed my sons' phones multiple times.

old man ran over it when i was getting my stuff ready. clipped it when it was leaning against a wall. it fell and he ran over the top half and all its eyes.
covered under impact inaurance or some shit because it was 'impacted by the car' 0 excess.
recommendations would be appreciated guys haha

Look at the assassin range.
Look at the assassin range. Beachmaster medium XL spinning would be my pick if you can justify paying the extra for it otherwise assassin surf 13' would be the go

Weren't you happy with the Sea Jigger? If you were why not get another or do you just want a change? In any case, if you are pairing rod with a baitrunner the Sea Jigger is wrong for that style of fishing. There are heaps to choose from but you need to supply more info such as length, casting weight, rod weight. Are you sticking with the $ you got from insurance or are you prepared to spend more or less?
