nice one... thought as much but just checking to be sure...
Got him on a crazy charlie fly set up to sink (and aid my pathetic casting!)... my 2nd serious outing with the big wand, still learning, so know I should count myself lucky knowing how long and far some flyers chase them, as this is in my regular playground... Ill claim it as pure skill of course
Went off like a frog in a sock, pulled a lot harder than a slightly bigger sized tuna I got a 20 mins before.
Bonefish are long, slender silver fish with a bluish/green dorsal area and grey fins. They are recognised by their protruding snout and underslung lower jaw. They have a single dorsal fin and a deeply forked tail.
Bonefish grow to 70cms in length.
They are very poor eating due to a number of small bones.
In Australia, they are found from Shark Bay Western Australia around the tropical north to southern Queensland.
I would have thought the obvious question is, "what do you think it is?"...... It looks like a lovely bone fish to me, but you could have thought it was a baldchin groper! ;)

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
