what do you prefer, metro fishing or fishing remote areas?
I love getting out and exploring remote areas and being the only person at a fishing spot. fresh or salt water or crabs or marron does not matter to me as long as its an adventure and your not within cooee of anyone else.

Any port in a storm
Bit of both , I have been out to the metro fads on a great day , no boats but ours, dollys everywhere, the colours , the water , fantastic
Had a couple of great days all alone out there for metro dhuies , and had some awesome afternoons all by our lonesone on north metro beaches
sunsetting , warm breeze , heaps of fish, all within 1 hour or so by boat or car . Makes it so much sweeter that your right next to a million people ,
enjoying natures gifts.
BUT...... crisp South coast beaches in autuum , leaping salmon,
coral bay reds
gero tailor
cant pick it mate , love it all , time with the kids , quadding, catching fish , what are the poor people doing haha.

defenetly love catchin a
defenetly love catchin a good fish metro like the one in my photo there out of the swan which to me, is worth a hundred mullas from up north but, put me in the bush on me own with cans of food water and a rod spent alot of time like this and its bloody good for ya to get the head together. the winner for me is defently remote in my opion you could spend 10 life times fishin this great land we are so lucky to live in and not even scratch the surface

Turn off
There is nothing worse than turning up at a beach and finding that many rods sticking up that it looks like a picket fence. You cast straight out in front and next thing you find the mobs on either sides have cast over top of you, time to wind it in, tangle it up properly, dump the mess in the sand for them to sort out and pick up the spare rod and continue fishing.
Like to get away from the crowds and enjoy myself, catching fish is a bonus.

Gotta agree with carnarvonite
Gotta agree with carnarvonite on this one. I like my metro fishing (pretty much all the fishing I do) but when I get out I normally do a lot better cause there aren't another 10-15 people to deal with.
