warning for all those fishing for samon at kwinana beach boat ramp

last friday a rockingham shire ranger was down at the kwinana beach boat ramp snaping pics of cars parked in a no parking zone , turns out that ramp is resposiblity of kwinana not rockingham so if you get a parking ticket from rocky council dispute it , was quite funny when i looked to where the ranger was parked it was dirrectly under a no parking sign , i have taken it up with rocky council and they admit she was out of her area of resposibily and nobody will get a ticket now

nah didnt take a photo as i didnt have my phone with me , the out come is this , the council will not be issuing any infringments that she wrote up at kwinana beach , the reason they cant , but makes me think how many people have copped infringments from rocky council in the past for parking there and payed them not knowing it was kwinana councils area , the said ranger is to under go retraining and has been moved to other duties untill that happens on a lighter subject the samon are still hammering that small jetty down there i would have seen 20 in 30 minutes caught early this morning and anouther 20 on dusk tonight in 30 minutes

Reminds me of a time when I got a parking ticket in Freo. I didn't notice there was a no parking painted on the roadway and yet I parked under a street sign that said no parking between the hrs of 7am-7pm. It was 7:30pm when I parked. Challenged it and they said they would reduce it because they could see it could have been confusing, I thanked them and said I would see them in court. They decided to drop it. I drove past some weeks later and the street sign had been removed. all about the revenue.

Come work with the poor bloke over the parttition from me that gets phone calls and people dropping into the office all day long complaining about people parking on their verge, on the road in their street, geez some people even complain about street parking along their rat run. Always two sides to the story when parking restrictions go in.

About bloody time!!!!
Been down there many times and you can't launch your boat / ski cause the locals have parked on the ramp ...... Got into a punch up when I tried to retrieve my ski one afternoon ......
I went out in the morning ( Friday ) and parked up in the car park when I returned there were cars parked on the ramp and I had to go and ask them to move so I can retrieve my ski .....
This f**ck wit parked in the middle of the launch ramp blocking it off told me to Fxxx off .... His bitch moved it in the end !!!!!

i hope it wasnt the old aboriginal bloke that parks up down there every day that you had the punch up with , he is disabled and parks down near the ramp as he cant physicaly make it from the top car carpark down to the jetty (beathing issues) , he tells me its its his daily ritural , as he can have a yak with people and watch fish being caught from his car , where he parks would never hinder a boat being launched or retrived , that ramp is dangerous , its as slippery as a butchers prick , i dont see the issue realy as i have only ever seen 1 boat launched there , and it not hard to shout " hoi your blocking the ramp can who ever owns that hilux move it " every one the jetty would hear that

Get the same at coode st south perth on a weekend, signs say boat and trailers only and F^%*wits park their cars in there so you can't park ya boat and trailer. Rangers should be having a field day but ya hardly see em.
