Anyone out there have any areas to fish in warnbro sound........... is it better to stay in close, or travel out to five fathom, we are putting the boat in at port kennedy, i think cockburn will be far to busy................ there seems to be a lot of water about 20 meters deep before the five fathom, i dont want exact areas, i will try to find them for myself, but was just after some local knowledge, wont be able to get out till about 9am........

ffb
if your fishing on the ffb, i guess u can catch fish before the reef. but we usually go on the outer side of the reef in about 12-20m. the research iv done is that you will generally have a better chance on the outside. just look for good ground, theres plenty of it, and if your anchored burley always helps.

Sound
Inside the sound is always good too. You always get your feed of Whiting. Few KG there too. I went past ffb yesterday into about 40 - 45 meters looking for a duhie. Ended up back in the Cockburn sound for the last time near the D9 with no luck. Both sounds are good I reckon.
